The Fundació Barcelona Capital Nàutica took an active part in Tomorrow Blue Economy, held as part of the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona. The event, dedicated to driving a sustainable and innovative blue economy, brought together leading representatives from the maritime, scientific, institutional and business spheres.

The CEO of the Fundació Barcelona Capital Nàutica, Laureà Fanega, moderated the panel presenting the United Nations Collaborative Centre on Sustainable Ocean Economy, within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.

This round table served to officially present Barcelona’s DCC-SOE, a new international collaboration centre whose aim is to coordinate actions, generate knowledge and promote innovation in the field of the blue economy and marine sustainability.

With this participation, the Fundació Barcelona Capital Nàutica reaffirms its commitment to promoting an innovative, responsible blue economy that is open to international cooperation.
