What do we use your data for?
At FBCN, we process personal data for the following purposes:
Contact: to answer queries from individuals who contact us via our website contact forms or by telephone.
FBCN Services: registration of users who book services to use FBCN rooms, participate in training courses/workshops or educational projects, and/or other FBCN activities. In the user registration process for services, essential identifying data is requested.
Information about our services: with the explicit authorization of each person, we use contact data to communicate information about activities, events, or happenings.
Management of our suppliers’ data: we register and process data of suppliers from whom we obtain services or goods. This may include data of individuals acting as self-employed persons and also data of representatives of legal entities. We obtain the essential data to maintain the commercial relationship, dedicating it solely to this purpose and for the proper use of this type of relationship.
Management of your Curriculum Vitae submission: through the enabled form or through other means.
At events held or promoted by FBCN: photographs and videos will be taken at its facilities for the dissemination and/or promotion of FBCN’s activities, so all attendees authorize the use and reproduction of their images or voice by their presence at the event itself.
Video surveillance: at the entrance to our facilities, the existence of video surveillance cameras is indicated by approved signs. The cameras record images only at points where it is justified to ensure the security of property and people, and the images are used solely for this purpose.
What is the legal basis for processing your data?
The data processing we carry out has different legal bases, depending on the nature of each processing activity.
In compliance with a contractual relationship, in the case of relationships with our suppliers and with individuals who contract FBCN services.
In compliance with legal obligations, for example, data communications to the tax administration, established in tax regulations and those governing commercial relationships.
Based on consent, we send information about the services, activities, events, or happenings we schedule. In relation to the submission of your Curriculum Vitae and applications for professional offers we may publish, the legitimacy of its processing is based on the consent of the user who submits their data, which can be withdrawn at any time, although this would mean that their application could not be considered in our personnel selection processes. However, the withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out previously.
In fulfillment of a mission of public interest, we record images with video surveillance cameras to preserve the heritage we safeguard.
Who are your data shared with?
As a general criterion, we only communicate data to public administrations or authorities and always in compliance with legal obligations. When issuing invoices to clients, data may be communicated to banking entities. In justified cases, we will communicate data to law enforcement agencies or competent judicial bodies. No data transfers are made outside the European Union (international transfer).
How long do we keep your data?
The data retention period is determined by various factors, primarily whether the data is still necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected in each case. Secondly, it is retained to address potential liabilities for data processing by FBCN, and to respond to any requirements from other public administrations or judicial bodies.
Consequently, data must be retained for the time necessary to preserve its legal or informational value or to prove compliance with legal obligations, but not for a period longer than necessary in accordance with the purposes of the processing.
In certain cases, such as data included in accounting documentation and invoicing, tax regulations require retention until liabilities in this matter expire.
In the case of data processed exclusively based on the consent of the data subject, it is retained until that person revokes their consent.
Finally, in the case of images obtained by video surveillance cameras, they are retained for a maximum of one month, although in the event of incidents that justify it, they are retained for the time necessary to facilitate the actions of law enforcement agencies or judicial bodies.
