The DCC-SOE will promote a Call for Action (CfA) aimed at supporting innovation in the private sector through a global network of incubators and accelerators committed to a sustainable ocean economy.

The initiative will seek to support science-based, result-oriented solutions with international scalability, fostering collaboration and impact generation at a global level.

This action involves:

• defining the network’s objectives, its scope, and eligibility criteria;
• launching a communication campaign and establishing strategic partnerships;
• designing the governance system;
• defining an action plan linked to the Ocean Decade;
• defining and evaluating the global impact of the CfA.
