The event, dedicated to driving a sustainable and innovative <strong>blue economy<\/strong>, brought together leading representatives from the maritime, scientific, institutional and business spheres.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO of the Fundaci\u00f3 Barcelona Capital N\u00e0utica, Laure\u00e0 Fanega, moderated the panel presenting the<strong> United Nations Collaborative Centre on Sustainable Ocean Economy<\/strong>, within the framework of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n<p>The session featured:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Laura Meyer<\/strong>, Stakeholder Coordination Officer, Decade Coordination Unit, UNESCO-IOC<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anna Maj\u00f3<\/strong>, Director of Strategic Sectors and Innovation, Barcelona Activa<\/li>\n<li><strong>Emma Cobos<\/strong>, Director of Innovation and Business Strategy, Port of Barcelona<\/li>\n<li><strong>Joan Ylla<\/strong>, Deputy Director General for Maritime Policy, Government of Catalonia<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lourdes Reig<\/strong>, Director of BlueNetCat, professor and researcher at UPC<\/li>\n<li><strong>Valent\u00ed Sallar\u00e8s<\/strong>, Director of the Institute of Marine Sciences (ICM-CSIC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rafael Gonz\u00e1lez-Quir\u00f3s<\/strong>, Director of the Gij\u00f3n Oceanographic Centre (IEO-CSIC) and Head of the International Relations Unit, Spanish Institute of Oceanography<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This round table served to officially present Barcelona\u2019s DCC-SOE, a new international collaboration centre whose aim is to coordinate actions, generate knowledge and promote innovation in the field of the blue economy and marine sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>With this participation, the Fundaci\u00f3 Barcelona Capital N\u00e0utica reaffirms its commitment to promoting an innovative, responsible blue economy that is open to international cooperation.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\"
